Timothy J Furry

Timothy J Furry is an experienced professional in AI governance, ethics, and data privacy, currently serving as an AI Governance & Ethics and Data Privacy Consultant at Tethics, LLC since April 2023. Furry is a certified privacy professional (CIPP/US) and AI Governance Professional (AIGP), providing consulting services to businesses and law firms on privacy compliance and responsible AI system implementation. In addition to consulting, Furry has a longstanding role as an Instructor of Religion and Philosophy at Cranbrook Educational Community, where multiple courses are taught, including those focused on AI Ethics. Previously, Furry held the position of CEO at KRT Technologies, focusing on software and Web 3.0 decentralized applications, and was an instructor in the Philosophy and Religious Studies Departments at the University of Dayton. Furry holds a PhD from the University of Dayton, earned between 2005 and 2011.
