Aaron Smead is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in management and engineering within both military and civilian sectors. As General Manager at CraneWorks, Inc. since June 2018, Aaron oversees operations, building on a foundation established during tenure as Chief Engineer at Collis CraneWorks LLC, where design and layout of boom trucks for construction and rail were primary responsibilities. Prior roles include Facilities Area Manager at Amazon, and various operational positions with the U.S. Army, culminating in leadership roles where project management and flight operations were critical. Aaron holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
