Shawn Beagen Msc

Shawn Beagen MSc has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the aerospace and industrial manufacturing industries. Shawn has worked at Crane Co. as the Group Director of Crane Business System since 2020. Prior to that, they worked at GKN plc as the Director of Supply Chain and Lean from 2017 to 2019. Within GKN Wheels and Structures, they served as the Acting Director of Plant Operations in 2019. Before joining GKN, Shawn held multiple roles at GKN Aerospace, including Head of Planning & Logistics, Head of Planning and Logistics - Filton, Value Stream Manager - Pneumatic Wing Systems, and Value Stream Manager - Hydraulic Wing Systems. Shawn also gained experience at Crane Fluid Handling as the Value Stream Manager - Industrial Diaphragm Valves and Value Stream Supervisor - Industrial Diaphragm Valves. Early in their career, Shawn worked at Crane Process Flow Technologies Ltd as the Team Co-ordinator - Pharma Valves & Polymer Production and Planner / Buyer - Industrial and Pharma Valves.

Shawn Beagen MSc obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Operations Excellence from Cranfield University from 2016 to 2019. During this time, they were awarded the MSc Prize Winner - Arthur Corfe prize for student with the best course contribution and the MSc Prize Winner - Rolls Royce Prize for Best group project. Prior to that, they completed the Supply Chain Excellence Program - GKN from APICS in 2015 and served as a Corporate Graduate at GKN plc from 2013 to 2015, specializing in MCIL - Mastering of Continuous Improvement Leadership. Shawn also completed the EASA Part 21 Subpart G POA Course from CAA International in 2013 and received a Level 3 Award in First Line Management from the Institute of Leadership & Management in 2010. Their earlier education includes a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering C.A.D. from the University of South Wales from 2000 to 2001, and a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Mechanical Engineering C.A.D. from the same university from 1998 to 1999. In 2022, Shawn Beagen also obtained certifications as a Pragmatic Certified Product Marketer and a Pragmatic Certified Product Manager from Pragmatic Institute.
