Alexander Purvis has a diverse work experience. Alexander began their career in 2017 as a Production Engineering Placement Student at Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services UK. In 2019, they joined John Lewis & Partners as a Technology Selling Partner in the Small Electricals department. Alexander was a founding member of the Apple Selling Specialist team, and was responsible for delivering market-leading customer service and demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and customer relationship management. In early 2022, they began their MSc thesis in association with the Aircraft Reserach Association focussing on the Computational Fluid Analysis of Transonic Wind Tunnels and later, in Autumn, began working at Cranfield Aerospace Solutions as an Air Vehicle Design Engineer.

Alexander Purvis obtained a Master of Engineering - MEng in Aerospace Engineering from Brunel University London from 2013 to 2019. In 2021, they enrolled in Cranfield University to pursue a Master of Science - MSc in Aerospace Dynamics. Additionally, they obtained a Full UK Drivers License from the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) in July 2013.
