Joan Welborn

Joan Welborn is a NC State Bar Certified Paralegal in the firm’s Raleigh office. Her practice experience includes Employment and Family Law, as well as her favorite – Workers’ Compensation Defense. She supports attorneys Charles Hicks and Amy Pfieffer in the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Practice Group.

Joan attended Mount Olive College and graduated with a BS in Management and Organizational Development in 2004. She then went back to school to pursue an MBA in Human Resource Management and graduated with honors from Strayer University in Washington, DC, before completing her paralegal certificate from UNC. She is a member of the NCBA Paralegal Division (Workers’ Compensation Section).
