Melissa Donovan

Melissa “Missy” Donovan is a Senior Paralegal in the firm’s Raleigh office. Missy has worked supporting attorneys in the firm’s civil litigation and appellate law practice groups since 2003 and is the case manager for all appeals in the firm. She is a North Carolina Certified Paralegal.

Prior to joining the firm, Missy worked at the NC Court of Appeals as an executive assistant and paralegal to Staff Counsel, former Chief Judge RA Hedrick and former Chief Judge John C. Martin. Missy is a member of the Appellate Section and the Paralegal Division of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA). She is also the Paralegal Liaison for the NCBA’s Appellate Rules Committee.

Outside of work Missy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, visiting the Crystal Coast, and cheering for the UNC Tar Heels.
