Debbie James

Debbie James is the current CEO at Cranial Technologies. Debbie has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry, specifically in operations and strategy.

Before their current role, Debbie was the Market President for Healthways' Physical Medicine and Fitness Divisions. In this role, they were responsible for the P&L of the $290M division and was successful in growing revenue from $174M to $276M. Additionally, they improved employee satisfaction from 4.01 to 4.20.

Prior to their time at Healthways, Debbie was the Vice President of Medicare Operations at Health Net, Inc. During their time there, they led enterprise-wide operation strategy that included platform consolidations, off-shore outsourcing, and process efficiencies. Debbie also spearhead the RFP process that resulted in 50% more savings than the previous negotiation process with an off-shore vendor ($35 Million savings) and an additional $2 Million savings with an on-shore vendor.

Debbie James completed their undergraduate studies at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale where they earned a BS in Finance. Debbie then went on to earn an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with a concentration in marketing and accounting.
