Simon Stephens

Simon Stephens has extensive experience in risk management, internal audit, and accounting. Simon most recently served as the Head of Risk and Internal Audit at Cranswick Country Foods PLC since 2013. Prior to that, they held roles at Greencore as the Divisional Accountant from 2011 to 2013 and as the Internal Audit Manager from 2008 to 2011. Simon also worked at KPMG UK as an Audit Manager from 2004 to 2008, Royal Mail as an Internal Audit Manager from 1997 to 2004, Audit Commission as a Senior Auditor from 1996 to 1997, and Quadron Services Limited as a Financial Accountant from 1994 to 1996. Simon began their career as an Accountant at a medium-sized local accountancy practice from 1989 to 1994.

Simon Stephens attended Sir John Leman High School for their early education. Simon later went on to pursue a degree in Accountancy & Finance at the University of West London, graduating with a BA (Hons) 2.1 in 1989. In addition, they have also undertaken studies in the field of Accounting with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) at an unknown time.
