Rene Wessels is a seasoned talent acquisition professional with extensive experience leading recruitment teams across various sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Talent Acquisition at Crate and Barrel since June 2019, Rene previously held multiple key positions at Starbucks from March 2010 to June 2019, including Director of Talent Acquisition for both Enterprise/Corporate Functions and Retail across the U.S. and Canada. At Starbucks, Rene successfully established the Early Career Talent Team and developed comprehensive campus engagement strategies. Prior experience includes roles as Senior Human Resources Business Partner at BMO Capital Markets and several leadership positions at Starbucks Coffee Company, where Rene managed recruiting across different regions and functions. Earlier career experience includes serving as AVP recruiting consultant at Bank One and various HR roles at Unisource Worldwide, Inc.
