Melissa Yee

Melissa Yee has worked at multiple companies in various roles. Melissa started their career at Intact as an Underwriting Assistant in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Forensic Co-op at BDO Canada. The following year, Melissa joined Toyota Canada Inc. as an Internal Controls Analyst. Melissa then transitioned to Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) in 2014, first as an Associate Business Systems Analyst and later as a Business Systems Analyst. In 2021, they joined Crave Retail as a Software Developer. Melissa'smost recent position is at Durham College, where they started in 2019 as an AI/HUB Research Assistant, then advanced to the role of AI/HUB Research Associate, and currently serves as the Principal Investigator.

Melissa Yee began their education in 2010 at the University of Waterloo. Melissa completed their Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management with a focus on Accounting and Finance in 2015. In 2018, Melissa attended Durham College and obtained a Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics for Business Decision Making, which they completed in 2019. Following this, Melissa pursued further education in the field of Artificial Intelligence Analysis, Design, and Implementation at Durham College, earning another Graduate Certificate between 2019 and 2020. Additionally, Melissa obtained the Derivative Fundamentals Course from the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI) in October 2016, and the Investment Foundations Certificate from the CFA Institute in September 2015.
