Pat Van Bakel

Pat Van Bakel BA, CIP is the President, Loss Adjusting, North America at Crawford & Company, leading a team of claims professionals. Pat is also the President & CEO of Crawford's Canadian organization and serves as Chief Operating Officer at Origin And Cause, a forensic engineering firm. Additionally, Pat has held various operational roles at Crawford & Company in the past. Pat is highly involved in the insurance industry, having served as Chair of the Board of Governors at the Insurance Institute of Canada and as President of IIO. Pat holds a BA in Business & Economics from Wilfrid Laurier University.
