Crawlspace Habitats designs and manufactures premium modular formicaria for ant keepers who expect more from their equipment. Every formicarium is made in-house in the United States in small batches, which lets us move fast—refining designs, testing new ideas, and shipping improvements at a pace that larger, outsourced manufacturers can't match.

Our flagship FlexGrid system rethinks what an ant habitat can be. Modules snap together with our KeySnap connector system, so reconfiguration takes just seconds. As your colony grows, you can add nests, outworlds, and expansions in whatever arrangement suits your setup and, because every module features locking sliding doors, containment is maintained through every stage of the process. Connect, expand, and rearrange without ever giving your ants an opening to escape. We're ant keepers ourselves, and we design our products in dialogue with the ant-keeping community, which is why FlexGrid is designed around the realities of colony care: humidity control, secure containment, and clean visibility for observation.

Whether you're raising your first founding queen or stocking shelves for a community of keepers, we'd love to work with you. Wholesale inquiries welcome.
