Mike Whitson

Mike Whitson's work experience begins with their current position as a Senior Development Engineer at CrayoNano since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Analog Photonics from March 2017 to February 2020 as a Senior Member Of Technical Staff. Mike also worked at Optron Systems as a Senior Research Engineer from February 2010 to February 2017. In 2009, they served as a Graduate Intern at Osram Opto Semiconductors. From April 2008 to February 2009, they worked as a Research Engineer at Optron Systems. Additionally, they were a Visiting Researcher at Tohoku University from October 2005 to August 2006. Mike started their career as a Nanofabrication Technician at Nantero from June 2004 to September 2005. Mike also gained internship experience at Hitachi Central Research Laboratory in Tokyo, Japan, through the MIT Japan Program in June to August 2003, where they performed design, finite element simulation, and optimization of simple MEMS beam resonators in Coventor.

Mike Whitson earned a Bachelor of Science (S.B.) in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2007. Mike then went on to complete a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the same institution in 2017.
