Alex Giacomini

Alex Giacomini has a diverse work experience that spans various industries.

In 2014, they worked as a Communications Intern at UCSF, where they managed social media campaigns and organized projects.

They then served as a Creative Writing Teaching Assistant at Menlo School in 2015, where they helped students improve their writing skills through assignments and activities.

In the same year, they also interned at Stanford University School of Medicine as a Communications & Public Affairs Intern, where they wrote blog posts and provided copyediting services.

In 2016, Alex worked as an Intern and Tutoring Fellow at Everest Public High School, developing leadership skills and facilitating personalized learning time for students. They also worked as an Intern, Menlo School Learning Lab Writing Tutor, assisting students with critical writing skills.

They later joined VIZ Media in 2016 as an Editorial Intern, editing comic proofs and scripts for popular manga series. They also maintained and organized the company's editorial library.

In 2017, Alex served as a Public Relations Intern at MSR Communications, compiling media lists, pitching project concepts, and creating email templates. They also worked as a Content Development, Web & Digital Assistant at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, conducting research, analyzing web-based advertisements, and generating reports on museum competitors.

In 2019, they became a Marketing Specialist at Evviva Sciences, where they focused on growing the email subscription list through contests and giveaways, as well as creating marketing strategies and content for social media and email campaigns.

Finally, in 2021, Alex joined Crazy Maple Studio, Inc. as a Narrative Designer, adapting romance stories into interactive games. They later became the Lead Narrative Designer, leading a team of writers, identifying stories for adaptation, and collaborating with other teams. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Creative Development at the company.

Alex Giacomini has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley, which was awarded in 2016. Prior to this, Alex attended Chapman University from 2011 to 2013, where they studied music performance and English. In 2015, Alex also briefly attended University College Dublin for liberal arts and sciences. Additionally, Alex obtained a Master of Arts degree in English from UCL, completed in 2018.
