Joshua Miksch

Joshua Miksch, P.E. has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Research Assistant at UMass Lowell where they developed a continuous lab-scale system for oil extraction. In 2011, they joined Bostik as a Process/Project Engineer, leading the commissioning of adhesive facilities. From 2009 to 2016, Joshua worked at SPEC Process Engineering & Construction as a Process Engineer and Senior Process Engineer, handling various design/build projects and leading a $30MM process expansion. In 2019, they joined NFPA as a Technical Committee Member for the NFPA 1 Fire Code. Currently, Joshua is an Associate and Director of Business Operations at CRB, where they held positions like Core Team Leader and Process & Automation Engineering Group Leader. Joshua is a licensed Professional Engineer.

Joshua Miksch, P.E. holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Joshua also obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from the same university. Prior to that, they pursued Chemistry & Pre-Pharmacy Studies at Temple University. Joshua completed their education at Bourne High School. Joshua has additional certifications including being a Professional Engineer (Chemical) in MA, ME, and RI, a Graduate Certificate in Modeling, Simulation & Control of Systems & Processes, a Graduate Certificate in Nanotechnology from The University of Massachusetts Lowell. Joshua also has certifications in Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA) for Process Safety Management, OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety and Health, and Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) for Team Leaders.
