Helen Boyd

Helen Boyd has extensive experience in the engineering and consultancy sectors, primarily focused on coating technologies within the pipeline industry. Boyd’s career began as a Graduate Engineer at Brown and Root (1985-1987), followed by significant roles at Allseas (1988-2004) where duties included Field Engineer, Pipeline Engineer, and Section Head Coating. After a freelance tenure at Offshore Pipeline Consultancy (2005-2007) as a Coating Engineer, Boyd advanced to a Senior Advisor role at Heerema Marine Contractors (2011-2014), including leadership in the Innovation Department. Boyd currently serves as the Independent Business Owner at Beyond Coatings Consultancy (2019-Present) and Technical Director at CRC Evans (2021-Present), bringing a wealth of knowledge from previous technical authority positions and specialized engineering experience.
