Meghan Riley

VP at CRD Associates

Meghan joined CRD Associates in 2020. Her work focuses on legislative and appropriations efforts for patient and research advocacy groups; public health surveillance organizations; and laboratories.

Prior to joining CRD Associates Meghan was Vice President of Federal Government Affairs at the American Diabetes Association, leading ADA’s efforts on Capitol Hill to advance policies for people with and at risk for diabetes. Meghan spent twelve years at ADA, working to achieve access to adequate and affordable health care for people with diabetes; increased federal investment in diabetes research and programs; and enactment of policies that help people prevent the onset of diabetes. Meghan’s advocacy was instrumental in establishing of the National Diabetes Prevention Program and later the Medicare Diabetes Prevention Program, the first community-based disease prevention program to be made eligible for Medicare reimbursement.

Early in her career Meghan held positions on the legislative staffs of former U.S. Representatives John W. Olver (MA) and Ciro D. Rodriguez (TX). Meghan holds a Bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University in Washington, DC.
