Max Wright

Max Wright has extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management. Max is currently the Group Head of Procurement at Creams Cafe, a position they have held since September 2022.

Prior to their current role, Max worked at The Big Table Group from 2012 to 2022. During their time there, they served as Head of Procurement from August 2018 to September 2022, Head of Food & Drink Procurement from September 2015 to August 2018, and Senior Category Buyer from April 2012 to September 2015.

Before joining The Big Table Group, Max was a Senior Buyer at DBC Foodservice Ltd from April 2011 to March 2012. Max was responsible for Frozen Food, Alcohol, and Non-Food categories, as well as being a lead advocate for SalesOut Insight data analysis.

From 2008 to 2011, Max worked at Landmark Wholesale as a Senior Trading Controller - Foodservice. Max then moved on to Compass Group UK & Ireland, where they served as a Purchasing Manager from October 2006 to September 2008.

Earlier in their career, Max held the position of Senior Procurement Manager at Pizza Hut UK Ltd from December 2000 to October 2006. In this role, they were responsible for managing the commercial and supply chain aspects of the company's food and drink portfolio, overseeing annual spending of around £100 million.

Max started their career at Glanbia in 1998, where they served as a Category Purchasing Manager. Max managed the cheese portfolio, which accounted for the largest product area within the business.

Prior to joining Glanbia, Max worked at SPAR, where they held various roles including Trading Manager from January 1996 to May 1998 and Marketing Manager - Spar UK from January 1992 to January 1996.
