Rachel Gilmore

Engineer at Creare

Rachel Gilmore started their work experience in 2009 as a National Nanotechnology Infrastructure Network (NNIN) Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) at the University of Minnesota. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Cornell University in the Hanrath Energy Laboratory. In 2012, they participated in two MIT Practice School programs, one at Novartis and another at Cabot Corporation. From 2011 to 2017, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Tidsale Lab at MIT. Since 2017, they have been working as an Engineer at Creare.

Rachel Gilmore received their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Afterward, they pursued their higher education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, completing their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering from 2011 to 2017.
