Mark Bryant

Mark Bryant is an accomplished editor, publisher, media consultant, and content strategist with extensive experience in the publishing industry. Currently serving as Head of Author Relations at Created by Humans and Executive Director of the Assignment Foundation, they focus on empowering authors and training aspiring journalists. From 2018 to 2024, Mark worked as an Editor At Large at Scribd, conceiving and managing the Scribd Originals imprint. They also co-founded the Santa Fe International Literary Festival in 2022, bringing together renowned authors and practitioners from the literary community. Mark's impressive career includes roles at Outside Magazine, HarperCollins, and various other prominent media organizations, along with teaching narrative nonfiction at Colorado College.
