Emily Yehezkel is an experienced professional in education and community development, currently serving as the Experiential Education Director at Creating Connected Communities and as a Sunday School and Hebrew Teacher at Temple Sinai since August 2021. Previously, Emily worked as a Program Coordinator at Empower, and held teaching positions at Cherry Hill School of El Paso and Astoria Center of Israel. Additional experience includes roles as a Communications and Development Associate and National Organizing Fellow at Israel Policy Forum. Emily holds a Master of Arts in Education and Human Development from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in American Sign Language/English Interpreting from Kent State University.

Founded in 2010, Creating Connected Communities (CCC), is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to bring life-enhancing programs to children experiencing hardship by empowering teens to become engaged community leaders and volunteers. CCC is committed to being an inclusive organization that represents our diverse community. CCC is dedicated to meeting the needs of families from diverse ethnic, social, religious, and economic backgrounds. Our interactive programs engage all participants in actively learning and contributing to our community through appreciation, acceptance, empathy and respect.
