Andrii Burkat

Andrii Burkat has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Andrii began their career as an Assistant Manager at Vanguard Digital Solutions, where they supervised teams and installed security systems in various buildings, including active construction sites. Andrii then interned as an Industrial Engineering Intern at Bell Equipment, gaining hands-on experience in industrial engineering.

In 2018, Andrii joined the Renewable Energy Systems Project at the University of Pretoria as an Industrial Engineering Team Member. Andrii conducted research on the financial feasibility and manufacturing methods of Photovoltaic thermal (PVT) technology, contributing to the VIP Consortium headquartered at the Georgia Institute of Technology in the USA.

From 2020 to 2021, Andrii worked at Convergenc3, starting as a Technical Business Process Engineer and later transitioning to the role of Senior Business Process Engineer. In these positions, they played a key role in implementing 3rd party data sources and designing and implementing a Target Operating Model (T.O.M) at one of the largest short term insurers in Southern Africa. Andrii fulfilled various functions including project management, data analysis, business analysis, and change management.

Since 2021, Andrii has been working as a Business Analyst at Creatio, where they continue to contribute their expertise in analyzing and improving business processes.

Andrii Burkat completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Andrii also obtained several certifications in different fields. In 2021, they became a Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA) and a Salesforce Certified Einstein Analytics and Discovery Consultant. Andrii also obtained the Enterprise Business Agility Strategist certification from AgilityHealth and the ICAgile Certified Professional - Business Agility Foundations certification from ICAgile, both in January 2021. Additionally, they completed various online courses in subjects such as SQL for Data Science, Agile Meets Design Thinking, Introduction to GIS Mapping, Machine Learning, and Usable Security from institutions such as Coursera and Udemy.
