Joanne Brown has extensive work experience in the arts and culture sector. Joanne currently holds the position of Director First Nations Arts and Culture at the Australia Council for the Arts since September 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Manager Strategic Development at the same organization from December 2018 to December 2021. Joanne also served as the Investment Lead at Create NSW from June 2016 to December 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Education Coordinator at Western Sydney University from February 2011 to December 2016.
Joanne Brown earned a Graduate Certificate of Business in Business Administration and Management, General from Western Sydney University in 2016-2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Business Marketing from TAFE NSW.
