Krystle Salazar is a seasoned software engineer currently contributing to the Openverse project at Automattic since May 2021. With prior experience as a project core committer and volunteer contributor at Creative Commons, Krystle has also worked as a back-end developer at Fivent and web developer at Cuantix, where responsibilities included the development of a social impact measurement platform using various technologies such as PHP, HTML, CSS, and PostgreSQL. Additional roles included serving as a teacher assistant and data warehouse trainer at Universidad Central de Venezuela, where Krystle supported systems administration and educated students on database construction and data visualization. Krystle holds a Licentiate's degree in Computer Science from Universidad Central de Venezuela.
