Mitja V. Iskrić

Mitja V. Iskrić is a professional librarian with extensive experience in open science and citizen science initiatives. Currently serving at the Central Technical Library in Ljubljana since December 2018, Mitja V. Iskrić actively collaborates on research data projects, organizes events, and provides guidance on open access while managing social media. As a consultant for Mreža občanske znanosti and a member of several working groups, including those for LIBER Europe and the European Citizen Science Association, Mitja V. Iskrić contributes to the growth and development of citizen science projects across Slovenia and Europe. Additional roles include involvement with Wikipedia as a member of the Wikipedians of Slovenia User Group, founding Biblioblog to share knowledge about libraries, and serving as a global network member for Creative Commons. Mitja V. Iskrić holds a diploma in Library and Information Science from the University of Ljubljana and has pursued additional studies in related fields.
