Anne McElvoy

Anne McElvoy is a seasoned media professional currently serving as the Head of Podcasting and Executive Editor (Europe) at POLITICO since February 2023, alongside hosting an interview show. Prior to this role, Anne held the position of Head of Podcasting and Executive Editor at The Economist from January 2016 to December 2022, where responsibilities included developing and overseeing podcast strategies and presenting shows. Additionally, Anne has experience as a broadcaster for BBC Radio 3 and 4 and has contributed as a political columnist for the Evening Standard and i newspaper. Anne McElvoy is an alumnus of Wadham College, Oxford, holding a degree in German and Philosophy.
