David Kuenzi

David Kuenzi, CFP®, serves as the Director of International Wealth Management at Creative Planning LLC, a role held since September 2020 after the rebranding of Thun Financial to Creative Planning International. With a career that began with the founding of Thun Financial Advisors in January 2008, Kuenzi built the firm into a leading U.S. wealth management provider. Previously, Kuenzi contributed as an investment expert to The Wall Street Journal Expat and held various VP positions in institutional sales at firms such as Troika Dialog USA, Deutsche Bank, and Bank Austria Creditanstalt. Kuenzi's academic credentials include a Master of Philosophy from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
