Krista Thompson

Krista Thompson, CPA, has extensive experience in the financial planning and wealth management sectors. Currently serving as a Financial Planner at Creative Planning since August 2021, Krista's previous roles include Senior Wealth Planner at Carson Group from October 2019 to August 2021, and Wealth Manager at Plancorp, LLC from September 2018 to July 2019. Prior to these positions, Krista spent over six years at Brown Smith Wallace, advancing from Tax Associate to Tax Supervisor. Krista began the career as a Staff Accountant at Abeles & Hoffman, P.C. and gained initial experience as an Accounting Intern at Bunge North America. Krista holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance from Lindenwood University, earned in 2010.
