Joolz Casey is the founder of #behumankind and serves as Chief Kindness Officer for the movement, with a background as a specialist nurse, counsellor, and organisational development facilitator. They have led learning, change and people-focused programmes across organisations, including roles as director at The Really Useful Learning Company (2009–2013) and head of learning and organisational development at The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association (2015–2017). They currently chair the board of Creative Support and are founder, developer and consultant at The Really Useful Change, and are the founder of the #behumankind community. They earned an MSc in Person-centred Counselling from the University of Hull (2002–2007) and earned a Registered Nurse qualification (1986–1990); they are pursuing the Organisational Development Practice programme at Roffey Park (2019–Present).
