Paul Hutchings

Paul Hutchings has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity and network management. Paul began their career in 1998 as a Level 2/3 Help Desk support at Kraft Foods. Paul later worked as a Network Engineer at AWA Services Ltd. In 2001, they joined Telstra and held various roles including Lead Solutions Architect, Security Manager + Technical Delivery Manager, and Network & Security SME. At Telstra, they implemented LEAN systems approach, managed and motivated teams, and contributed to the development of strategic direction. From 2011 to 2012, Paul worked as a Team Lead at Telstra, where they managed an experimental, cross-functional team and achieved significant cost and time savings in network connectivity. Paul then served as an Information Assurance SME at ANZ from 2012 to 2013. From 2014 to 2016, Paul worked as a Principal Security Consultant at Dimension Data. Paul joined Deloitte Australia in 2016 and held roles as Director Network and Security, and Director Cyber Security. At Deloitte, they contributed to cyber security initiatives. Currently, Paul is Chief Security Officer at Creativemass.
