Nicolette K. is a dedicated medical student at the Medical College of Wisconsin with extensive experience in the medical field. Currently serving as an Orthopedic Surgery Medical Assistant at Southern California Orthopedic & Spine Institute and a Psychiatry Medical Intern at Cedars-Sinai, Nicolette also volunteers in the Cedars Sinai Emergency Department. As the Founder and Editor in Chief of The Bold Edit, UCLA's first mental-health focused online magazine, and the Founder and President of The Creator Institute, Nicolette demonstrates a strong commitment to mental health and supporting budding authors. Additional roles include being an Author at New Degree Press, a Research Assistant in the Rissman Neuroscience Memory Lab, a volunteer counselor with UCLA CampMed, a health advocacy volunteer with the Saving Hearts Foundation, and the Communications Director at Hillel at UCLA. Nicolette holds a Bachelor's degree in Physiological Psychology/Psychobiology from UCLA, completed in 2022.
