Piyush Pant

Piyush Pant is a Backend Engineer at CRED since January 2020, leading the KYC, pre-onboarding, and Growth pod, and has successfully designed and implemented a real-time user blocking flow for disbursals, resulting in monthly cost savings of INR 100 million. Previously, Piyush served as a Backend Engineering Intern at Google Student Community DITU and as a Subject Matter Expert at Chegg India, where contributions included solving computer science queries. Piyush also worked as a Student Developer at Crio.Do, developing a scalable backend system using Spring Boot and MongoDB. Piyush holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Big Data Analytics from DIT University, completed in 2020.
