Austin Root

Austin Root is an experienced professional with a diverse background in capture management and military leadership. Currently serving as Director and Senior Capture Manager at Credence Management Solutions, LLC since February 2019, Austin leads business capture efforts for federal contracts ranging from $10M to $300M, managing significant initiatives such as DISA ENCORE III SB and EPASS. Prior to this role, Austin was a Squad Leader and Combat Medic with the Virginia National Guard, overseeing medical operations for over 400 soldiers during a deployment with extensive experience in emergency medical treatment. Austin's earlier tenure at ABSc involved managing business development and proposal activities, ensuring successful proposal submissions and organizational growth. Austin graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor's of Arts in Foreign Affairs.
