Alex Kellams

Alex Kellams, CFA has over 6 years of work experience. Alex started their career as a Business Analyst at Credigy in June 2015 and worked there until June 2017. Alex then moved on to become an Investment Associate at Credigy from July 2017 to December 2019. During this time, they were responsible for modeling asset cash flows, negotiating legal agreements, and managing senior financings and loan purchase programs. In December 2019, Alex was promoted to Senior Associate at Credigy, where they evaluated $500 million of investments in fintech unsecured loan portfolios and played a key role in drafting term sheets and credit memos. In November 2022, they were promoted again to Associate Director, Investments, where they executed and originated transactions with various financial institutions and presented investment memorandums to executive leadership. Currently, they hold the position of Director, Investments at Credigy, where they continue to lead deal team due diligence and negotiate investment structures and credit criteria. Prior to joining Credigy, Alex had a brief internship at MBL Advisors Inc., where they worked on organizing client profiles and developing training materials.

Alex Kellams, CFA, holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance, General from The University of Georgia, obtained in 2015. In 2019, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute.
