Maltin Korkuti

Maltin Korkuti serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Credins Bank since March 2003, where responsibilities include representing the bank legally and leading it toward strategic and economic goals as set by the Board of Directors and shareholders. Prior to this role, Korkuti held the position of Deputy Chief Executive Officer, overseeing the Treasury Department, Operations Department, and Risk Management Unit. Earlier career experiences include management roles at Credins Financial Institute and Savings Bank of Albania, as well as an officer position at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Korkuti holds a Master's Degree in Accounting and Finance from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and a PhD from the University of Tirana, with a thesis focused on financial risk analysis and management at second-tier banks. An additional Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning and Services was earned from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Tirana.
