Alvaro Utrera

Alvaro Utrera currently serves as the Head of Energy and Real Assets Debt Advisory Iberia at Crédit Agricole CIB, a position held since April 2024. Previously, Utrera was a Director at Deutsche Bank from July 2020 to April 2024, where responsibilities included originating structured finance transactions across various sectors. Utrera also held leadership roles at Fitch Ratings, managing teams in the analysis of infrastructure and project finance ratings in the EMEA region, and at Enagás, overseeing Structured Finance and M&A activities. Other experience includes roles at Bankia and Barclays focused on infrastructure finance and energy project debt structuring. Utrera holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and a Specialist degree in Treasury from IEB.
