Ignacio Pérez has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Ignacio began their career as an Intern at Deloitte in 2013, where they worked in M&A. Ignacio later became an Analyst in M&A at Deloitte from September 2013 to November 2014.
In 2015, Pérez joined Lazard as an Analyst in M&A and Restructuring, a position they held until February 2018.
In 2018, Pérez started working at Crédit Agricole CIB as an Associate in Leveraged Finance. Ignacio was promoted to Vice President in Leveraged Finance in 2021 and later served as Vice President in Corporate & Leveraged Finance from March 2022 to February 2023. Currently, they are a Director in Corporate & Leveraged Finance at the same company.
Ignacio Pérez pursued a Bachelor's degree in Law and Business Administration at Universidad Pontificia Comillas from 2007 to 2013. In 2012, they spent a semester as an exchange student at Sogang University in Seoul, South Korea, where they studied Business Administration. Similarly, in 2010, Ignacio also studied as an exchange student at UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal, focusing on Law. Ignacio attended a seminar on Stock Exchange and Financial Markets at Instituto BME in 2010. Additionally, they participated in a summer course on "Understanding Foreign Policy: the Diplomacy of War, Profit, and Justice" at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2009, specializing in International Relations and Affairs. Ignacio Pérez obtained a certification in "Fintech and the Future of Finance: Blockchain, Cryptocurrencies, Govcoins, and the Payments Revolution" with distinction from The Economist in 2023.
