Maulesh Desai

Maulesh Desai has a diverse work experience in the finance and banking industry. Maulesh began their career at Axis Bank as a Credit Officer in May 2006 and worked there until November 2007. During this time, they gained knowledge and skills in credit risk analysis.

In November 2007, Maulesh joined the CareEdge Group as an Associate Director. In this role, they led a team of analysts in credit rating assignments for large corporates. Maulesh specialized in project finance and credit ratings, particularly in sectors such as roads, ports, EPC, transmission, and various PPP projects across India. Moreover, they had extensive experience in credit risk analysis for manufacturing companies in sectors like chemicals, cement, steel, textiles, and edible oil.

Recently, in April 2022, Maulesh earned a promotion within the CareEdge Group and now serves as the Director of Corporate Ratings. This new role indicates their increasing responsibilities and expertise in the field.

Maulesh Desai has a diverse education history. Maulesh obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar, graduating in 2003. In 2006, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Finance from Gujarat University. Maulesh then pursued further education in the field of Cost and Management accounting, earning an Icwa degree from The Institute Of Cost Accountants Of India in 2009. Lastly, they completed their education in Banking and Financial Support Services by obtaining a CAIIB degree from the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance in 2012.
