Florentin Codin

Florentin Codin has a work experience spanning several roles and companies. Starting in 2005, they served as the Head of Collection at EFG Retail Services, overseeing the coordination and improvement of the department's efficiency. In 2006, they joined Bancpost as the Head of Credit Cards. At PPF Home Credit in 2008, Codin worked as a Credit Risk Manager, responsible for developing and monitoring risk management strategies for credit cards in Romania. From 2009 to 2014, they held the role of Head of Scoring and Product Development Risk Sector at Banca Romaneasca. Florentin'smost recent position, since 2014, is with CREDIT EUROPE BANK (ROMANIA) S.A., where they initially served as the Head of Retail Risk Division. Currently, Codin holds the role of Head of Risk and Data Modelling, focusing on measuring, controlling, and proposing risk mitigation strategies, as well as developing and validating risk models using machine learning methods. Florentin Codin attended The National College B.P.Hasdeu from 1992 to 1996, where they studied in the mathematics- physics section. From 1996 to 2000, they studied at Academia de Studii Economice din București, specializing in Banks, Finance, Insurance, and Stock Exchanges.
