Nyiko Theo de Beer

Theo De Beer is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in credit analysis. Currently serving as a FI Credit Analyst at Credit Europe Bank N.V. since September 2022, Theo has previously held positions such as Credit Analyst at Rand Merchant Bank from December 2018 to August 2022, where involvement in the Banks Credit team was notable, and as a Corporate and Investment Banking Risk Intern at Standard Bank Group in June 2018. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) in Economics and Finance and a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) (Hons) in Financial Analysis and Portfolio Management from the University of Cape Town, along with ongoing part-time studies for a Masters of Management in Finance and Investments at Wits Business School. Additionally, Theo is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society, recognized for being in the top 15% of the honours program. Past roles also include tutoring in macroeconomics and serving on the Commerce Student Council.
