Art Garanich began their work experience in 1984 at Electronic Data Systems, where they worked as a Systems Engineer and later became a Systems Engineer Supervisor. Art managed software customization for a steel manufacturing client and developed IMS/COBOL programs for a petroleum client. Art then became a Technical Delivery Team Manager, overseeing application development projects and implementing cost savings initiatives. In 2001, they were promoted to the role of Client Delivery Executive, leading teams in executing client projects and managing IT infrastructure projects based on client requirements. Since August 2002, Art has been the Director of Information Technology at Credit First National Association, where they have led the transformation of the IT department and serves as a key advisor to the CEO and CISO.
Art Garanich attended Cleveland State University from 1980 to 1984, where they earned their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. After completing their undergraduate degree, they pursued further education at the same university from 1985 to 1989, obtaining their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Finance.
