Avi Zagorie

Avi Zagorie has a diverse work experience in various managerial and engineering roles. Avi started their career at Amazon in 2005 as a Software Development Engineer, where they played a crucial role in designing and implementing core services for Kindle devices. Avi later became a Software Development Manager and managed different teams, including the Kindle SDK and HTML5 Platform team, responsible for creating tools and services for Kindle app developers. Additionally, they managed the Routing Technology team in the Amazon Logistics organization. During their time at Amazon, Avi also managed the team responsible for customer-facing features for Amazon Publishing.

In 2015, Avi joined Uber as an Engineering Manager, where they supervised the team responsible for routes and ETAs. The software developed by their team incorporated big data, machine learning, optimization algorithms, and real-time data processing.

Avi's most recent role was at Credit Karma, where they started as a Senior Manager in 2017 and progressively advanced to become a Director of Software Engineering. Their responsibilities included leading and overseeing software engineering teams.
