Dan Lane

Dan Lane is a Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in data engineering and platform security, currently employed at Credit Karma since August 2014. At Credit Karma, Dan has notably led initiatives to integrate recommendations with custom product content and contributed to redesigning data security practices. Previously, Dan worked as a Software Engineer at Mocana Corporation from November 2012 to August 2014, serving as the head QA for an industry-leading VPN client. Prior to that, at Cisco Systems from May 2005 to November 2012, Dan developed test strategies for Java APIs and automated testing processes for high-end routers. Dan's early career included a position as an Electronic Technician at Ultra Stereo Labs. Dan holds a Master of Science in Computer and Engineering Sciences from Sonoma State University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
