Martin Hynie (He/Him)

Martin Hynie is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and quality management, currently serving as the Sr Manager of Explainable AI Engineering at Credit Karma since October 2019. In this role, Martin leads a tactical team focused on designing and implementing Explainable AI frameworks and products. Previously, Martin held various senior management positions including Sr Manager of Engineering at Credit Karma, Sr Manager of Quality Engineering at Slack, and Director of Test Engineering at Medidata Solutions. Martin has also contributed as a founding member of the engineering team at Nivaha and has extensive experience in the Quality Assurance domain with roles at Mxi Technologies and Nortel Networks. Educational credentials include a B.Sc from McGill University and specialized training in Problem Solving Leadership and resilience frameworks.
