Tasos Nikoleris

Tasos Nikoleris is a seasoned data scientist and manager with extensive experience in the financial technology sector, currently serving as a Senior Manager in Partner Decision Science at Credit Karma. Since joining Credit Karma in September 2016, Tasos has successfully led teams in enhancing the company's pre-approval platform, Lightbox, and significantly increased its credit card penetration rate. Prior roles include Senior Data Scientist II, where Tasos focused on data governance and feature engineering, driving revenue growth through advanced machine learning models. Before Credit Karma, Tasos was a scientist at NASA Ames Research Center, overseeing a machine learning project for aircraft trajectory classification and the development of an automated air traffic control system. Tasos holds a PhD and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, along with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
