Venkatesh Poosarla

Venkatesh Poosarla is a seasoned software engineer with a strong focus on machine learning and big data infrastructure. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Credit Karma since January 2022, Venkatesh previously held positions at Oath as a Principal and Senior Software Engineer, leading the redesign of Verizon's data insight platform and enhancing security components. Experience at Verizon Labs includes developing scalable streaming components and contributing to open-source projects. Venkatesh's early career involved roles at various firms, including building web crawlers at Nineleaps and developing optimization platforms at Fission Labs. Venkatesh earned a Master’s degree in Data Science from The University of Texas at Dallas and a dual degree (MTech+BTech) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
