Yachen Yan

Yachen Yan is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in applying machine learning techniques to various domains. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Credit Karma since July 2018, Yan specializes in deep learning for recommender systems. Previously, as a Lead Data Scientist at ZestFinance from July 2015 to June 2018, Yan led technical efforts on machine learning projects for notable clients, including Baidu Finance and Ford Credit, and implemented a variety of machine learning algorithms for underwriting, fraud detection, and marketing models. Yachen holds a Master of Science in Statistics from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Science in Financial Engineering from Wuhan University.
