Ayesh Gunawardana

Ayesh Gunawardana, PhD, currently serves as a Risk Analyst II at Credit One Bank, focusing on model implementation and the deployment of statistical models and machine learning algorithms. Prior to this role, Ayesh held positions as a Graduate Research Fellow and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Wayne State University, where involvement included utilizing Monte-Carlo methods, engaging in data transformation and engineering, and instructing various physics courses. Ayesh's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Physics from Wayne State University and a Bachelor of Science in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka.
