Shannon Truty

Shannon Truty currently serves as a Credit Union Examiner at the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) since January 2023. Prior to this role, Shannon held the position of Senior Tax Accountant at The Bonadio Group from December 2017 to December 2022, where key responsibilities included preparing and reviewing tax returns for high-income individuals and various entities, managing staff, mentoring new hires, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Shannon began a career at The Bonadio Group as a Tax Intern, with two separate internships in 2016 and 2017, focusing on tax return preparation and research. Shannon holds an M.B.A. in Accounting from Niagara University Graduate School and a B.B.A. in Accounting from Niagara University.
