Tom Hawkins is an experienced professional with a long-standing career in the financial sector and nonprofit leadership. Currently serving as the President of American Friends of Northern Uganda since January 2007, Tom has played a crucial role in the organization’s incorporation and the acquisition of 501(c)(3) status, along with developing essential policies and procedures. Tom also holds a position at the NCUA as a Supervision Analyst since May 1992, where responsibilities include Continuity of Operations Planning, financial institution analysis, and the development of databases and financial dashboards, alongside past roles as a Supervisory Examiner and Information Systems Officer. Tom’s educational background includes studies in Accounting at New Hampshire College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maine.
